Pioneering precision: C12 makes a carbon-based quantum breakthrough

C12 is a Paris-based startup developing the nextgeneration of quantum computers. The company waslaunched in January 2020 as a spin-off from the physicslaboratory of the École Normale Supérieure (ÉNS) tosupercharge the lab’s promising new development inquantum technology. C12 uses carbon nanotubes as thefundamental building block of their processor.By 2025 C12 had raised over € 28 million in equity funding,grown to more than 60 employees and built a diversifiedportfolio of more than ten patent families.
