Lydia Baril Joins C12 as Head of Innovation & Partnerships

Paris, June 2025 — C12 is pleased to welcome Lydia Baril as its new Head of Innovation & Partnerships.

Lydia brings a rare combination of international leadership and deep technical expertise in quantum technologies. With a doctorate in physics from Université Paris-Saclay, she has led multidisciplinary teams and driven strategic innovation programs at Microsoft, Oxford Quantum Circuits, Pasqal, and most recently as Head of Quantum DTU at the Technical University of Denmark.

She is the author of 28 peer-reviewed publications and holds seven patents in the fields of nanotechnology and quantum science. Throughout her career, Lydia has established a reputation as a transformative leader, developing disruptive technologies, forging strategic partnerships, and translating cutting-edge research into industrial breakthroughs.

In her new role, Lydia will report directly to CEO Pierre Desjardins. She will shape C12’s innovation roadmap, lead key partnerships across industry, academia, and public institutions, and identify opportunities for collaborative funding. She will also oversee intellectual property strategy and help scale C12’s quantum supply chain. Lydia will represent C12 in major research consortiums, industry forums, and policy discussions, advancing both our mission and the broader quantum ecosystem.
